Hwaseong Fortress was built by King Jeongjo of the Joseon Dynasty when he moved the tomb of his father’s Crown Prince Sado, to Suwon.

Suwon Hwaseong Fortress is a UNESCO World Heritage site which was recognized for its historical significance. It was built in the late 18th century as a strategic military fortification during the Joseon Dynasty in Korea.
