Article 2 (Definition) The definitions of terms used in these Terms and Conditions are as follows. 1. ‘AK’ refers to a service platform where ‘AK’ provides online Korean university study abroad information to ‘members’ using information and communication facilities such as PC and mobile. 2. ‘Member’ refers to a person who agrees to these terms and conditions in order to use ‘AK’ or enters into a use contract with ‘AK’ through a service linked to SNS. 3. ‘ID’ refers to the email address used by the ‘member’ when registering for membership in order to identify the ‘member’ and use the service. 4. ‘Password’ refers to a combination of letters and numbers selected by the ‘member’ to confirm that the person who wishes to use the ‘company’ service is the same person who was given the ID and to protect the rights and interests of the ‘member’. 5. ‘Non-member’ refers to a person who uses the services provided by the ‘Company’ without registering as a ‘member’. Article 3 (Specification, effect and revision of terms and conditions) 1. 'AK' posts the contents of these terms and conditions, company name, business location, representative's name, business registration number, contact information, etc. on the initial screen or announces them to 'members' through other means so that 'members' can know them. 2. The ‘Company’ may revise these Terms and Conditions to the extent that they do not violate relevant laws such as the Act on Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Framework Act on Telecommunications, the Telecommunications Business Act, the Information and Communications Network Act, and the Communications Secrets Protection Act. 3. When ‘AK’ revises the Terms and Conditions, the date of application and reason for revision shall be specified and announced along with the current Terms and Conditions in accordance with Paragraph 1 from 15 days prior to the date of application of the revised Terms and Conditions until the day before the date of application. However, in case of amendments to the terms and conditions that are unfavorable to ‘members’, in addition to the notice, a separate and clear notification will be provided through electronic means such as e-mail within the service or consent window upon logging in for a certain period of time. 4.' Even though AK' clearly announced or notified members of the revised terms and conditions in accordance with the preceding paragraph and informed them that if they do not express their intention to refuse within a period of 7 days from the effective date of the revised terms and conditions, they will be deemed to have expressed their intention, the member explicitly refused. If the member does not express his or her intention, it is deemed that the member has agreed to the revised terms and conditions. 5. If the ‘member’ does not agree to the application of the revised terms and conditions, the ‘company’ cannot apply the contents of the revised terms and conditions, and in this case, the ‘member’ may terminate the service agreement. Article 4 (Interpretation of Terms and Conditions) Matters not stipulated in these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to relevant laws and regulations or commercial practices such as the Act on Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Framework Act on Telecommunications, and the Information and Communications Network Act. Article 5 (Establishment of Use Agreement) 1. 'AK's Service Use Agreement (hereinafter referred to as 'Usage Agreement') is established when a person who wishes to become a 'member' (hereinafter referred to as 'subscription applicant') reads these Terms and Conditions and the Personal Information Processing Policy and agrees to their contents. Membership is established by applying for membership and ‘AK’ accepting such application. 2. When applying for a service agreement through linking with external platform services such as SNS, you must agree to these Terms and Conditions, the Personal Information Processing Policy, and the access and use of AK's external service account information of the 'subscription applicant' to provide the service. Or, if you press the 'Confirm' button, 'AK' accepts and the service agreement is established. Article 6 (Approval and restrictions on application for use) One.' 'AK', in principle, approves the use of the service in the order of receipt if there is no problem in business performance or technology regarding the application for membership by the 'subscription applicant' pursuant to the provisions of the preceding article. 2.' AK' will not accept applications for use in the following cases. • A. If the application is not in real name or using someone else’s name • B. If the contents of the service agreement application form are falsely entered Article 7 (Contents of Service) One.' The contents of the services provided by 'AK' to 'members' are as follows. • AK Newsletter 30 USD per year • 1:1 mentor and mentee matching 30 USD per month • 300 USD per time for 1:N university application (*Simultaneous application to 3 universities at once) • 1:1 Korean language training matching 30 USD per month 2. 'AK' may add or change the contents of the service if necessary. However, in this case, 'AK' will notify 'members' of additions or changes. Article 8 (Suspension of service provision) 'AK' may stop providing the service in any of the following cases. 1. When ‘members’ are notified in advance due to the need of ‘AK’, such as equipment repair, etc. 2. When the basic telecommunication business operator stops providing telecommunication services 3. When service provision is objectively impossible due to other force majeure reasons Article 9 (Notification and notice to ‘members’) 1. When ‘AK’ notifies a ‘member,’ the notice may be made through the ‘member’s’ registered email address, unless otherwise specified in these Terms and Conditions. 2. In the case of notification to all ‘members,’ ‘AK’ may replace the notice in Paragraph 1 by posting the notice in the ‘Company’ bulletin board for more than 7 days or posting it on the home screen of ‘AK’. Article 10 (Payment for service use) ‘Members’ may pay for the use of services provided by ‘AK’ using any of the available methods. 1. Payment by various cards other than PayPal 2. Various account transfers such as internet banking 3. Payment using mobile phone 4. Payment by other electronic payment methods, etc. Article 11 (Service Use Cancellation and Refund Policy) 1. If a 'member' expresses intent to cancel the service use contract, 'AK' will immediately receive the request and provide a refund within 7 days (based on business days) after confirming the 'member''s request and refund policy. 2. When 'AK' makes a refund, the refund may be made after deducting the amount specified by 'AK' to be deducted according to the case, such as the amount corresponding to the profit earned by the 'member' from using the service and the penalty. 3. When making a refund, ‘AK’ will refund all or part of the payment amount using the same method as the payment method used by the ‘Member’. However, if a refund is not possible through the same method, the ‘member’ will be notified immediately and the refund will be made using the method selected by the ‘member’. 4. ‘AK’ sets the service cancellation and refund standards as follows. - Cancellation of service use - § A. If measures are taken in accordance with relevant laws (e-Commerce Act, Contents Industry Promotion Act, etc.), such as notifying that the content (service) cannot be canceled, such as application submission, cancellation of the member's service may be restricted. - Refund criteria - § A. After payment but before using the service: Full refund § B. Before 1/3 of the service has been used: 2/3 of the amount paid will be refunded § C. After 1/2 of service use: No refund § D. Refunds are not possible if the results are received after using the service. 5. If a 'member' cancels the use of the service, the points accumulated and paid according to the relevant service agreement will be deducted, and if cyber money used on the site is used when paying for paid services of 'AK', the refund amount will be deducted from the cyber money. Money is excluded. 6. If ‘AK’ is unable to continue the service due to unavoidable circumstances, ‘AK’ will notify the member and provide a refund to the ‘member’ using the paid service as quickly as possible. 7. If you wish to change the content you are using the service to other content, you must cancel and receive a refund and then reapply. You cannot make the change yourself. AK paid service terms and conditions Article 12 (Provision of information and posting of advertisements) 1. 'AK' may provide various information to 'members' that are deemed necessary for using the service or for the purpose of improving the service and introducing the service to members through the service screen, email, etc. 2. ‘AK’ may post information or advertisements related to the services it provides on service screens, etc., and notify ‘members’ via email. However, ‘members’ may refuse to receive emails at any time, except for responses to customer inquiries, etc. in accordance with relevant laws. 3. 'AK' is deemed to agree to the display of advertisements displayed when using the service. Article 13 (Content responsibility and ‘AK’s’ right to modify information) 1. Content refers to posts about study abroad information at Korean universities written or registered by ‘members’, and other posts written or posted by ‘members’ within ‘AK’ are referred to as other posts. 2. ‘Members’ must write content sincerely based on facts, and in principle, the ‘member’ must write the content himself. 3. If a ‘member’ registers inappropriate and false content and causes damage to other members in the process of using the service, the content registrant may be held liable in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. 4. If the content contains typos, misspellings, or phrases and content that go against social conventions or are based on clearly false facts, 'AK' may delete or modify them at any time. Article 14 (Rights and use of content) 'AK' can anonymously use the content entered by 'members' to create statistical data related to studying abroad at Korean universities, and the above data can be distributed to the press through media. Article 15 (Copyright of posts) 1. The copyright of a post written by a ‘member’ within ‘AK’ belongs to the author of the post. However, by submitting or posting a post through the service, a 'member' has an exclusive and free copyright license to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, change, disclose, transmit, post or distribute the post to 'AK'. (including the right to use secondary copyright) is deemed to have been granted. 2. Posts submitted or posted by 'members' within the service may be exposed in search results, services, and related promotions, and may be partially modified, copied, edited, and posted to the extent necessary for such exposure. Article 16 (Management of posts) 1. ‘AK’ provides a platform where ‘members’ can upload content and produces content directly or indirectly. ‘Members’ have the copyright to the content they produce and provide to the platform. Therefore, responsibility for the ‘content’ uploaded to ‘AK’ lies with the original author who produced and registered the content. 2. If a 'member''s post contains content that violates relevant laws such as the Information and Communications Network Act and the Copyright Act, the rights holder may request suspension or deletion of the 'post' in accordance with the procedures established by relevant laws, and 'AK' Action must be taken in accordance with relevant laws. 3. Even if there is no request from the rights holder pursuant to the preceding paragraph, 'AK' may take temporary measures, etc. for the 'post' in accordance with relevant laws if there is reason to believe that there is a violation of rights or if it violates other 'AK' policies and related laws. You can take it. Article 17 (Attribution of rights) 1. Copyright and intellectual property rights for the ‘Service’ belong to ‘AK’. However, posts by ‘members’ and works provided pursuant to an affiliate agreement are excluded. 2. In relation to the service, 'AK' grants 'members' only the right to use accounts, content, points, etc. in accordance with the terms of use set by 'AK', and 'members' do not transfer, sell, provide collateral, etc. cannot be disposed of. Article 18 (Obligations of ‘AK’) 1. 'AK' must do its best to provide continuous and stable services in accordance with the provisions of these Terms and Conditions. 2. When ‘AK’ receives a complaint from a ‘member’ related to the service, it must immediately process it, and if it is difficult to process it immediately, it must notify the ‘member’ of the reason and processing schedule through the service or other methods. do. 3. If the service is interrupted due to an unexpected event such as a natural disaster or a system failure, the 'Company' is not responsible for any damages. However, we are obligated to do our best to recover data or provide normal service support. Article 19 (Obligations of ‘Members’) 1. ‘Members’ must comply with the relevant laws, the provisions of these Terms and Conditions, and other matters notified by ‘AK’, and must not engage in any other acts that interfere with the business of ‘AK’. 2. 'Members' may not use the information obtained by using the service by copying, duplicating, translating, publishing, broadcasting or otherwise, or provide it to others, without the prior consent of 'AK'. 3. ‘Members’ must not use this service for any purpose other than confirming information about studying at a Korean university, and must not engage in any of the following acts while using the service. A. Illegal use of another member’s ID B. Activities for the purpose of criminal activity or related to other criminal activities C. An act of defaming or insulting another person’s reputation. D. Acts that infringe upon the rights of others, such as intellectual property rights. E. Hacking or spreading viruses F. Continuously transmitting certain content, such as advertising information, against the will of another person. G. Actions that are judged to interfere with, or are likely to interfere with, the stable operation of the service. H. Commercial activities using the site’s information and services I. Other acts that harm good morals, other social order, or violate relevant laws and regulations. Article 20 (Withdrawal of membership and loss of membership) 1. ‘Members’ can request withdrawal from ‘AK’ at any time, and withdrawal requests can be made through the [Member Information] button in the [My Page] menu within ‘AK’. 2. If a ‘member’ withdraws membership, the posts made are not automatically deleted. 3. If a 'member' violates the terms and conditions, 'AK' may restrict the use of the service or terminate the service agreement through steps such as warning, temporary suspension, or permanent suspension. Article 21 (Compensation for Damages) 1. If 'AK' causes damage to a 'member' or causes damage to a user due to reasons attributable to 'AK' in relation to any other services provided by 'AK', 'AK' must compensate for the damage. . 2. If a 'Member' causes damage to 'AK' and a third party due to an act that violates the provisions of these Terms and Conditions, or causes damage to 'AK' and a third party due to reasons attributable to the 'Member', the 'Member' ' must compensate for the damage. 3. If a ‘member’ suffers damage due to another member’s fault, ‘AK’ is not responsible for compensation. Article 22 (Protection of personal information of ‘members’) ‘AK’ must strive to protect the personal information of ‘members’. Regarding the protection of personal information of 'members', we comply with the Information and Communications Network Act and related laws, and announce the 'Personal Information Processing Policy' on the 'Site'. Article 23 (Resolution of disputes) 1. 'AK' and 'Members' must make all necessary efforts to amicably resolve disputes arising in connection with the service. 2. Despite the efforts set forth in the preceding paragraph, lawsuits regarding this dispute will be filed in the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act. 3. These terms and conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Article 24 (Notification of advertising information) ‘AK’ may only send advertising information to ‘members’ who have agreed to receive it through methods such as e-mail, text message service (LMS/SMS), and mobile push message (Push Notification). In this case, the ‘member’ may refuse to receive it at any time, and ‘AK’ will not send advertising information if the ‘member’ refuses to receive it. These terms and conditions apply from 2022-10-01.
